What are the continuing education requirements for R.R.A’s®?

  • At least 25 must be category A+ credits, while the remaining 25 can be a blend of category A or category A+
  • A minimum of 35 credits must pertain to disciplines or specialties relevant to the broader practice area of a radiologist assistant, rather than individual roles

What are my continuing education requirements for ARRT® certification and registration as an R.R.A. ®?
A radiologist assistant must acquire 50 CE credits every two years. Out of these 50 CE credits:

  • 25 must be category A+ CE credits while the other 25 credits can be category A or A+
  • 35 credits (of the total 50 CE credits) must be discipline or specialty-specific
Would I be able to use the CE credits acquired through your R.R.A. ® courses to meet my CQR?
Yes! Each course’s individual page in our CE library contains a CQR distribution table. If you need help choosing the right combination of courses to meet your CQR, you can check out our CQR simulator! Just enter your CQR requirements, and the simulator will tell you which courses best meet them!
What is the easiest way to fulfill my requirements for ARRT® certification and registration as an R.R.A. ®?
To fulfill your requirements for ARRT® certification and registration, you have two options:

  • Enroll in a 50-credit CE package. Each package meets the requirement for 25 A+ credits and 35 credits in a discipline. Chest-Abdo-Pelvis Imaging Package; Breast Imaging and Women’s Health Package; and Patient Care and Safety Procedures Package
  • Enroll in the A+ package that includes 25 category A+ credits, and purchase the rest of the credits from the table to complete your requirements
I don’t see my state in the list of states that accept your CE programs. Does this mean your courses are not accepted by my state?
We list several states (Florida, California, Texas, Oregon, Massachusetts, Kentucky, and New Mexico) only because these states have unique and specific CE credit requirements for radiologic technologists. If you’re unsure about your state’s requirements, you can check out our list of state CE requirements or send us a message, and we’ll be happy to get you started on your CE courses accepted by your state’s licensing body.
I’m a Radiologist Assistant working in Florida. Do you submit my CE credits to the Florida Department of Health, or do I have to do it myself?
Yes, we do! Medical Professionals is a Florida-approved CE provider, we submit your CE activity to the Florida DOH on the 1st of every month on your behalf.
How does the 30-day refund policy work?
