A robust library of radiology continuing education (CE) courses for RTs practicing in the state of Florida
Welcome to Medical Professionals’ Library of Radiology continuing education courses for Florida radiologic technologists! The Florida Department of Health has approved all the CE courses in this library to meet the radiology CE requirements for RTs licensed by the state of Florida. As an approved provider of radiology continuing education courses for the state of Florida, Medical Professionals reports CE activities to the Florida Department of Health on the 1st of each month on behalf of our members working in the state.
In addition, all courses in this library are approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and are guaranteed to be accepted for ARRT® renewal. If you have a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB®) certification, these courses also fulfill your NMTCB® biennial CE requirements. Furthermore, all MRI courses in this library are accepted by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT®).
Florida CEU Requirements
Below you’ll find a summary of the CE requirements for RTs holding a Florida radiology license.
Florida State Radiology CE Requirements
RTs and RRAs licensed in Florida should complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years. You must complete a Department of Health (DOH)-approved 1-hour HIV/AIDS update course
Only 3 of the 12 CE credits can be non-field related and categorized under personal development—the rest of the credits must be classified as technical, such as those related to equipment operation, radiation protection, etc… Medical Professionals is proud to provide various radiology continuing education courses in multiple modalities to help you meet your Florida CE requirements. Can I use your continuing education courses to complete both my ARRT® CQR and my Florida radiology CE requirements?
Yes! Every course in this library has a CQR credit distribution table on the individual course pages. We have even developed a CQR Simulator, so you can easily find the right combination of courses to complete your CQR at the lowest cost.
Will you report CE credits to the Florida Department of Health for me, or do I have to do it myself?
As a Florida-approved provider of radiology continuing education courses, we report your CE credits to the Florida Department of Health on your behalf. We send reports on the 1st of each month for all CE credits earned in the immediately preceding month. However, you should still be sure to download your CE certificate for your records, in case you are selected for a random audit.
Does your All-Access Pass work for Florida radiologic technologists?
Yes! If you need a lot of CE credits for your Florida state and/or ARRT ® renewal, our All-Access Pass is the CE plan for you. With the All-Access Pass, you can earn unlimited CE credits. All of the radiology continuing education courses included in the All-Access Pass, with the exception of CT Vascular and Mastering Breast Ultrasound, are approved by the state of Florida.
How long do I have to complete a course once I buy it?
Once you buy a course, you have access to it for 6 months, easily enough time to complete it and earn your CE certificate at your own pace.
What’s your refund policy like?
Our refund policy is straightforward: you are entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so long as you haven’t passed a post-test or downloaded a CE certificate for the course. Simple as that. Just shoot us a message requesting a refund, and once we verify that you haven’t passed a post-test or generated a CE certificate, we’ll issue your refund straightaway.
How often do you add new radiology continuing education courses to your Florida CE library?
On average, we add 1-2 new courses to our library each month. We add courses in different modalities, focusing on a variety of content areas and skills, and varying in their length and number of CE credits in order to provide RTs with as many choices in their continuing education as we can.
Can I work on my courses offline?
Yes! Most of the courses in this library have a PDF transcript that you can download and read offline, on any device, at your convenience.
