What is the difference between APCA® and ARDMS®?
ARDMS® and APCA® are both part of the Inteleos™ family, a global certification organization dedicated to advancing medical imaging and education. ARDMS® certifies sonographers, while APCA® certifies physicians and other healthcare providers who use ultrasound in their practice. Together, they uphold high standards in ultrasound practice through rigorous credentialing programs.
I’m a Florida-licensed technologist: do you report my ultrasound CME credits to the state of Florida for me, or do I need to report them on my own?
As a proud Florida-approved CE provider, Medical Professionals submits your CME activities to the Florida DOH on the 1st of every month on your behalf. You still need to be sure that you download your certificate for each ultrasound CME course you successfully complete and retain it for your records. It is important to note that licensure is not required in the state of Florida for employment as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. However, employers prefer sonographers that have credentialed by one of the professional credentialing bodies.
Is this bundle accredited by EACCME®? What about AMA® PRA Category 1 Credit™?
All of our diagnostic medical sonography CME courses are accredited by EACCME® (European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education), and can be converted can be converted to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Therefore, you may acquire up to 17 CME credits from the MSK courses. However, not all ultrasound courses are eligible for EACCME® credits. Always refer to the key features or accreditation section on the course page for confirmation.
